This classic physics demonstration shows that if a hunter takes aim at a target which starts to fall at the instant he fires, then he will always hit the target. The explanation is that both projectile and target are in being accelerated vertically at the same rate (by gravity). The muzzle speed does not matter.
Check your java console for other information on the trajectory.
